Drawing Water from a Well in Co Carlow
Our most recent project was at a meat factory in Co Carlow. The factory is drawing water from a well on site. What we would normally ask for in this situation is a water analysis as this will help us identify the issues within the water, and create a tailored water treatment solution, specific to your needs.
When receiving the water analysis, it had the following problems with its water supply.
- Iron
- Manganese
- Hardness
- Turbidity
- Stained appearance

The duplex water softeners are available in a range of sizes, from 20 litres up to 250 litre making them ideal solutions for when moderate amounts of softened water is required on a 24/7 basis. Other benefits of this is that they prevents limescale build up inside pipework. Our standard water softeners are fitted with 1″ or 1.25″ Clack Valves. Each Duplex system has either a single TT CI Valve or two CI Valves and interconnecting Motorised Alternating Valve. (MAV)
The Ecomix C is recommended as it’s a multi-component, complex filter media for problem water with high organic matter. Handles seasonal variations in water composition.

Filter Ag + is a regular for most of our bespoke uniquely tailored water treatment systems as it has a high sediment removal capacity resulting in longer filter runs and fewer backwashing cycles.

The filters are intended to purify water from sediment particles such as rust, sand, scale, silt, etc.
The factory now has clean fresh water and are very happy with what we supplied.
