Ecosoft R2D2-72 is a powerful softener for larger households of up to 6 people. With a capacity of up to 3,200 litres per regeneration cycle at an inlet hardness of 250 ppm CaCO₃, it reliably supplies the entire family with softened water. The system uses ion exchange technology, replacing calcium and magnesium ions with harmless sodium ions to prevent limescale. This ensures limescale-free water, longer appliance life, and added comfort in everyday household tasks.

To ensure proper operation, always keep the salt level in the brine tank above the water level. We recommend filling the tank to about two-thirds with salt. How often you need to top it up depends on your water hardness and daily consumption, but in most homes it’s enough to check every 2–4 weeks.
Important: Never let the salt run out completely, as this may stop regeneration and reduce the efficiency of your softener.
