Newly Dug Well with, Low pH, Iron, Manganese, Hardness and Coliforms

We recently worked with a company to help with a domestic property, local to where our customer is from in Ireland. The client needed help with a newly dug well. This water had multiple issues such as, low pH, Iron, manganese, hardness and coliforms. We needed to get all this out of the water, so we came up with a fully tailored water treatment solution to sort these issues out with the water. Read on to see what we came up with…

You’ve probably seen us go on about Juraperle in our last few case studies as it is a fantastic way to help level out the pH in your water supply. It’s always a good to, as it’s a low reacting pH corrector, meaning it’s a safe option to use on your water because it has a much lower chance of over-correcting pH levels. 

Next is, you guessed it. ECOMIX! If you haven’t read about us singing Ecomix’s praises then where have you been for the last million years! In short, it’s an advanced five-stage treatment media for an all-in-one solution! Removes basically anything you don’t want in your water like, iron, manganese, hardness, ammonia and organic matter. Sediment filter was also supplied for, you guessed it, getting sediment out of your water supply. It will remove particles such as rust, sand, scale and silt. It’s an excellent pre-filter for any water treatment solution as it also has the added effect of reducing slime-building bacteria on the filter itself, so it’s a win-win when you have one of these filters. Finally, onto the UV. These have been in very high demand recently, and it’s because they are so useful in your water treatment system. The reason for that is because the UV system eliminates harmful organisms from your water supply. It works if you are wanting to treat  a private water source, or adding extra protection for your municipal water supply, it’s a solid choice to provide extra protection in your water.
