This week we supplied a huge water treatment system that was specifically tailored, to go out to a cattle farm. The reason they needed this was for the wash down and cleaning the floors in the farm. This water has to be clean and free from contaminants due to the cattle farm working within the dairy food industry. When investigating their water to know how to treat it properly, we found the following issues:
- Turbidity
- Iron
- Hardness
- Sulphates
- Sodium
- Bacteria
As a result of the contaminants in their water supply, we wanted to come up with the perfect solution to provide safe, filtered water on this farm, and we think we did a pretty good job!
What we supplied
- Filter AG Plus – Sediment and turbidity reduction
- Pyrolox – Iron and Manganese removal
- Antiscalant dosing- The source water was very hard
- Carbon unit – Colour and odour improvement
- MO-9 with Permeate flushing assembly – Mainly for the sulphate and sodium treatment
- PH correction – Water was acidic
- UV Disinfection- Pathogenic bacteria present in the source water
