J&F Water Treatment recently supplied a complete domestic borehole water treatment system for a new private well installation in Ireland. One of our trusted customers carried out the installation on site, while our Ireland office provided the full system design and product supply based on the water test results.

The Problem – Multiple Water Issues from a New Borehole
Although this was a newly drilled private domestic well, the water analysis showed several common problems found in borehole water supplies:
- Low pH (6.1) – slightly acidic water
- Turbidity present – cloudy/unclear water
- Iron and manganese in the supply
- Hard water
- Colour/discolouration in the water
Without the correct treatment system, these issues can cause staining, poor water quality, and long-term damage to plumbing and appliances.
The Borehole Water Treatment Solution Supplied by J&F
After reviewing the water test results, J&F supplied a complete three-stage system designed specifically for domestic borehole water treatment applications.
pH Correction – 1044 Juraperle Unit
Because the borehole water had a low pH of 6.1, we supplied a 1044 Juraperle unit to neutralise the acidity. Correcting pH levels is one of the most important steps in private well water treatment, as acidic water can damage pipework and reduce the effectiveness of other treatment systems.
Turbidity Removal – 1044 Filter AG+ Unit
To remove turbidity and improve water clarity, a 1044 Filter AG+ unit was also supplied. This system removes suspended particles and ensures the water is clean, clear and suitable for everyday domestic use.
Iron, Manganese & Hardness Removal – 25L Titanium Ecomix C Cabinet System
To deal with the remaining issues, we supplied a 25L Titanium Ecomix C cabinet system, which provides an all-in-one solution for:
- Iron removal from borehole water
- Manganese removal
- Hard water treatment
- Colour removal
This type of system is ideal for domestic borehole water installations where multiple water quality problems need to be treated in a single compact unit.
The Result – Clean, Clear Water from the New Private Well
Once the systems were installed by our customer, the results were immediate. The homeowner now has:
