To begin with they already had an existing sand filter. They had turbidity and iron and sodium in the water supply, so we wanted to get this out as it’s fruit they are dealing with here.
Filter-Ag Plus has a large surface area, microporous structure for highly efficient turbidity filtration. So it’s really good for the existing issues in the water. It also has a high sediment removal capacity resulting in longer filter runs and fewer backwashing cycles. Overall it’s an all natural, environmentally safe product. So it will work perfectly when working with food.
Next up was Pyrolox, used in water treatment for over 75 years so it’s a trustworthy product that we know performs well. This filter media helps with removal of iron, manganese and hydrogen sulphide from problem water. Another positive to it is that it does not require a regeneration process or softener salt.
