Today, we are taking a look at a recent domestic installation from one of our customers in Ireland which had a couple of issues with their water such as:

To combat these issues and remove contaminants from their water supply, we provided a simple solution.
WHAT WE SUPPLIED
10×44 Time Clock Valve, Juraperle unit for pH correction
THE SOLUTION
We started with the 10×44 mineral tank with a Time Clock valve. This unit is used only for backwashing the pH media; as it is not metered it will regenerate every day or two. Juraperle was the chosen media to help with pH correction because this domestic house had a low pH of 5.9, whereas the pH level in your water should be between 6.5 and 8.5. If water is below 7 on the pH scale, it’s “acidic.” If it’s higher than 7, it’s “alkaline.”
1044 TC Juraperle unit for PH correction 1035 CE Ecomix A unitJuraperle dissolves into the water supply, naturally lifting the pH level in the water. This is a slow reacting pH corrector so it has a much lower chance of over-correcting.
Second is the always reliable and effective, Ecomix A. If you haven’t heard us talk about this over and over again then where have you been?
Ecomix A offers a robust and effective all-round water treatment for the removal of iron, manganese, ammonia, organic matter and water hardness. The Ecomix A unit uses a CE valve; a metered valve that regenerates the media within 14 days or after a predetermined volume of water has passed through the system. This is a more advanced valve than the Time Clock valve (TC), as it measures the water flow through the valve to allow it to do the above for regeneration purposes.
Last but not least, you can’t forget the brine tank. Nothing would be possible without it as it holds the salt required to regenerate the filer medias.

This full system was installed and there are now no more issues with the water on this property. Another happy customer!
